Benefits of a Philippines Funeral

Some of the benefits of a funeral in the Philippines

·      It is a proper, final farewell.
·      It leaves good and beautiful memories of the person loved.
·      It provides closure; that the person has, in deed, ‘passed away’.
·      It extends emotional and material comfort to the bereaved.
·      It satisfies religious, cultural, social and family obligations.
·      It is ‘catch-up’ for attendees (sharing updates since the attendees were last together·      It acknowledges favors granted by the departed or the bereaved, as well.
·      It allows attendees to expand social, professional and business networks.
·      Sufficient funds helps to create fine memories of a warm, beautiful funeral.  But it is the ‘pulling together’ of the bereaved, their cooperative efforts, which cause the event to become specially memorable.
·      It is noteworthy to mention that provincial and many of the smaller funeral homes in the cities give high value to monies spent on the funeral package. This is a results of competition. Items such as tents, chairs, umbrellas, coffee, videoke and PA systems, the use of viewing facilities up to 40 days after the interment and other add-ons are provided at no additional cost.

The author is one of an informal 3-man team working to keep the blog’s quality and continuity.
‘Swiss Guard 2’ [SG] was the author’s ROTC platoon sargeant in the 50s and his scuba buddy in the 70s. ‘SG2’ finished his law studies here and abroad in the 60s and with his law firm and partners have been serving as legal counsel of the author’s extended family up to the present time.
‘SG3’ is a young, smart and warp-speed IT tech affiliated with the Computer Science College of a very old yet much evolved and large university. He functions as the blog’s administrator.
As ‘SG1’, the author’s collateral benefit from the blog is to keep Alzheimer’s ‘across the street in the neighbors backyard’. He is learning ‘on the fly’ what he needs to know about blogging. This is why revisions continue to be made on the blog segments.
